Rules & Information

These auditions will be held each year during the MMTA State Conference. The entry fee is $20.00, plus a $5.00 application fee.

This competition is open to all instruments. Entrants must perform one movement of a standard concerto from memory. Students must provide their own accompanist. (Teachers may accompany their own students for this event.)

Elementary Concerto, grades 1-6;
Junior Concerto, grades 7-9;
Senior Concerto, grades 10-12.

Application forms and adjudication forms must be completed and fees paid no later than October 1.
ENTRY & APPLICATION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

MEMBERSHIP DUES MUST BE PAID BY SEPTEMBER 1 BEFORE A TEACHER MAY ENTER STUDENTS IN ANY COMPETITION.
